What a brave decision to include Depression in its own sub-category. Such a huge topic and people often avoid talking about it. I would assume the milder forms of feeling down would come under this too? I am gradually getting better at dealing with anxious thoughts as the years go by. But I still find myself prone to various addictions, in fact it is my anchor word for the topic at the moment – addictions and how to break the cycle, so things like comfort eating and social drinking (that glass of wine you really only order so you dont stand out of the crowd)… What is your fix?

IVANK# thanks for sharing! Its a massive problem to now days busy lifestyle. Good for you that a good meal and a glass of wine help you feeling better.
Poor sleep, panics, short of breath, low mood and lost of appetite/ increasing appetite – everyone has its own battle and way of coping.
Myself i have asked for professional help and now i am taking medicines. it does helps and the big step is to admit there is a problem and not to be ashamed to look for help. It has taken me 4 years to open and admit as i have always thought this is a nonsense and only weak and unstable people are getting depressed- Big, Huge mistake.
Depression is an illness like every other illness and there is a treatment too!

Depression is an illness as every other illness that makes you to feel unwell. The sooner you accept it the better.

Go to GP, take some medicine and keep living, this will change your existence completely if you admit it now- better sleep, hungry for food and living life as normal human. Don’t waste time and take action!

You will feel a whole new person within 3-4 weeks, I promise!

Can’t be more agree with Sarah!

I am a true example after years of low mood and depression I am living the life I should, I am only sorry I didn’t make it earlier- self-help books, social life, positive thinking  and drinks do not help, that’s bullshits! Treat yourself!
